Oops!!! Imo State Polytechnic: 389 students disgraced, expelled for exam, admission malpractices

Almost 400 students of Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo, have been expelled over examination and admissions malpractices.

A total of 389 students were affected.

The Rector, Rev. Fr. Wence Madu, told newsmen in Owerri that the students' expelled became necessary because most of them were admitted
without due process.

Madu further revealed that the institution had put measures in place to forestall the illegal admission process.

The Rector cautioned those involved in admission racketeering, adding that only students who merit admission would be admitted.

He reiterated the institution’s zero tolerance for examination malpractice, campus cultism and other vices and advised students to face their studies diligently.Almost 400 students of Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo, have been expelled over examination and admissions malpractices.
